How do I sign up?

To sign up for the UrbanChange mobile app, you should first choose the community you wish to sign up for. Next, you may choose to register to the app by connecting a Pera Wallet account or by using the “Email flow”. 

Let’s start with the most recommended option, giving you the easiest and the most robust access.

“Join with Email”

Signing up with your email address, powered by “Magic”, is as easy as it gets:

1. Provide your email address and enter the verification code sent to your email.

2. Provide your first and last name.

3. Provide your phone number and enter the verification code sent to your phone.

That’s it. Your account is all set up and you can start enjoying all the benefits of the UrbanChange app and your local community.

“Connect with Pera Wallet”

This option is reserved mostly for community managers, and for those who already have an Algorand-based account on Pera Wallet and wish to utilize their account for the benefits of the UrbanChange app.

If you are not such a user, it is highly recommended that you use the “Email” option described above.

1. Connect your Pera Wallet account.

2. Fill out your first and last name.

3. Provide your email address.

4. Provide your phone number and enter the verification code.

5. Opt-in to the “Resident” asset and your community’s “LocalCoin” asset. 

• If you are a business owner you will be asked to opt-in to the “Business” asset as well.
