How do I spend LocalCoins?

You should inform the business that you will be paying with your LocalCoins. Then, in the app:

1. Locate the business using the search feature on the “Discover”’ or “Pay” screens.

2. Go to the business profile and tap “Pay here”.

3. Enter the amount you wish to pay using your country’s official currency. 
   Please note, for ease of use we enabled you to enter the amount of the official currency, while you can always see their value in LocalCoins. 
   For example, if you reside in the European Union, and you wish to pay €23 for something, simply enter the number 23. The business will be sent with the amount of LocalCoins that equals €23, which can be 26.04 LoclaCoins for instance.
   The bottom line: you should input the amount using your country’s official currency, and the business will get its payment in LocalCoins.

4. Next, if you signed up with your email, you simply need to click ‘Pay”. The transaction will now take place and you should see the confirmation screen appear in the app. Make sure to show it to the business representative taking care of you.

However, if you signed up using your Pera Wallet account, the following steps should occur:

1. iPhone user - you will receive a notice to remember that if you wish to change the amount you want to pay, you must change it through UrbanChange and not within Pera Wallet.

2. Android user -  you might be asked to connect your wallet and then move forward with paying via Pera Wallet. 

Then, click “Pay with Pera Wallet” and Pera Wallet will be launched/opened and the transaction will be prompted for you to sign. 

Next, sign the transaction, go back to UrbanChang, and make sure to show the business representative the confirmation screen on your phone.
